Why isn’t the computer area completely silent?

The computer area is a quiet area. Since we accommodate all types of users from groups to community patrons, as well as having a large number of computer workstations present in the same physical space, we do have to allow for some ambient noise. If you feel it is too loud, please ask your neighbors to lower their voices or you may also ask for help from library staff at the front desk.
